Latest Work
As a child my family together with our cousins regularly visited Lane Cove National  Park. I thought I knew the river there but it wasn't until I decided to try and capture it that I fully appreciated the long journey the river makes along the north shore suburbs from Thornleigh all the way to Sydney.

Eastern Australia

Seven remarkable and beautiful places along the east coast of my home country.
Two chapters are complete - the remaining five are in the pipeline.

From The Cutting Room Floor

It is often a little journey to reach the ideal place in the sky for the best light and framed shot.
Once airborne the camera is always rolling which results in a lot of footage ending up 'on the cutting room floor.'
Here are some shots that didn't make the final cut of their respective movie . Sit back and relax and enjoy the long sequences of gliding landscapes.
To shoot this film I visited secluded places that I never knew existed even though they are virtually in my own back yard in suburbs I thought I was familiar with.
Soundtrack: Don't Believe Anymore (Remix) by Icehouse

The amazing island of Santorini in Greece is the location for the 2nd edition of 'From The Cutting Room Floor'. It was very definitely worth getting airborne and gently passing above this spectacular natural wonder.
Soundtrack Holding On To Nothing by Agnelli & Nelson.

My home town of Sydney, Australia has so much natural beauty it's hard to squeeze it into a movie. So here lie some of the shots that remain from my film 'Beauty Rich and Rare.'
The cool soundtrack is Royksopp's Electric Counterpoint III.

Sydney - My Home

No surprise that there are a number of films based on my home.
So much beauty and so little time to be able to be out their capturing some of it.
The most iconic building in Australia - always beautiful no matter the time or the weather conditions.

Avalon is a surfing beach and has a 25-metre salt water rock pool at the south end. It is 37 kilometres north of Sydney in the beautiful Northern Beaches region.

Whale Beach is located 40 kilometres north of Sydney.  Just off the rocks at the northern end is a well-known surf break called the Wedge and to the south lies 'The Devil's Cauldron' - a rock formation carved over time by turbulent seas. (I went on a calm day so I wouldn't be washed out to sea!!)

Fort Denison is a former penal site and defensive facility occupying a small island located one kilometre east of the world famous Opera House in Sydney Harbour.

Located at the entrance to Sydney Harbour is the gorgeous Shark Island. Another beautiful place to share from my home city.

Bilgola is a native Australian word thought to mean swirling waters. The beach lies on Barrenjoey Peninsula and is part of Sydney's Northern Beaches, between Newport to the south and Avalon to the north.

Shot on a DJI Phantom 3. This was my first foray into drone cinematography.
